Loud questions welcome

Teenagers don't leave the church over unanswered questions — they leave over unasked ones. Our youth counsel builds rooms where doubt is spoken out loud and met with honesty, humor, and Scripture that holds.

We rebuild the weekly rhythm around small mentor circles, train adults who actually like teenagers, and plan a summer serve week that makes faith tangible.

  • Wednesdays 6:30 PM — worship, word, and circles for grades 6–12.
  • 1 : 5 mentors — every teen known by name by two adults.
  • Phones-down rule — the first fifteen minutes belong to real faces.

What's included in the counsel

A complete Youth Ministry engagement, from listening sessions to serve week.

Honest nights

A teaching calendar built on teens' submitted questions — suffering, science, dating, doubt — answered without panic or platitudes.

Mentor teams

We recruit, background-check, and train circle leaders in safeguarding, confidentiality limits, and the art of showing up.

Summer serve week

Five days of local service with morning worship and evening debrief — the week your teens talk about all year.

How the counsel works

A semester from first question box to student-led night.

01

Question harvest

Anonymous cards from every teen set the teaching agenda — nothing off limits.

02

Mentor training

Safeguarding, suicide-awareness basics, and how to answer "I don't know" well.

03

Circle relaunch

Small groups capped at six, led by trained pairs, with our coaches in the room.

04

Student night

The semester ends with teens leading worship, testimony, and the whole evening.
